The only way to run flash on FreeBSD is via www/linux-f10-flashplugin10, www/linux-f10-flashplugin11, www/linux-f10-flashplugin9 ports based hacks. So this is going to be a problem for FreeBSD users. This wrapper also supports Adobe Acrobatplugin, RealPlayer plugin and more. However, a software wrapper for running the Linux version of the plugin exists.
The Adobe Flash plugin is not available for FreeBSD. One can safely assume that Adobe wants to kill Flash on Linux for all other browsers except Google Chrome. But, lots Linux users may wish to use flash player for Firefox outside Youtube.
Personally, it won’t affect me as I do not watch many videos outside Youtube.
